To be referred to the Northern Health Network, you need to visit your general practitioner (GP). With your input, your GP can create a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and refer you to the Northern Health Network.
Once we have received your referral (MHTP), you will be contacted by a Northern Health Network staff member to confirm that you’d like to access our service.
Most of our services are delivered at the NHN head office located on 2 Peachey Road, Edinburgh North. Here we have 15 counselling rooms and a GP room on-site. Our mental health clinicians also consult at a range of locations across the northern and western metropolitan regions, Gawler and the Barossa Valley.
Additionally, the NHN has now opened premises in Port Adelaide. Services will be provided from the NHN’s new location at 78 Dale Street, Port Adelaide from April 2017.
Throughout your therapy, your mental health clinician will communicate with your GP to ensure you receive the best possible support.
